Not bad.....we didn't start that well....looked a bit disorganised. On this showing, March will do well this season and it would be great to establish this as an annual fixture. "Young" Dave told me he was at the ground quite recently...he thought it was 1948 when Wisbech ...he thinks...won in the FA Cup!
Really thought March looked a quality side and gave Wisbech a game...Either side could have won and looking forward to the League cup...Think March should do very well in the league this season.

Memorial Cup

Thanks to all who attended the Memorial Cup game v Wisbech Town on Thursday. A good crowd of about 150 respectfully marked the memory of Ben, Karl and Daniel along with their family members.
It was a good evening, a good game ending 3-3, but the Fenmen won 7-6 on pens. Lots of old and new friendships taking place, and a great advert for local football. Thanks to all from Wisbech for their support, to all the players for a thriller.

Home Friendlys

March town have two friendlys at home next week, they are
Yaxley on the Tuesday29th July 2008 and Wisbech on Thursday 31st July 2008. both KO at 7.45pm.
The game against Wisbech will be for a memorial cup in memory of Ben Whiteway, Karl Munton and Daniel Runacres, Three March Town players who tragically lost their lives together in a car crash.
Please come along and show your support.
