Founded at the City Stadium, Heaton, in the East End of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1997 by John Bower, Rob Davidson and Sean Stobbs. At that time very few clubs played in Royal Blue so this was chosen to be the club colour with yellow/blue to be the changed strip. Unfortunately there was already a "team" called Heaton Boys so a new name had to be found. Sadly Heaton Boys have since folded.
